A Los Viñateros Bravos Pipeño Blanco 2019 (1 Litre)
The centralised and mechanised 'wine'making industry that monopolises the country has made winemaking and now grape growing unviable for small producers in the South. From the Guarilihue region of Itata, marginal granitic soils, very sandy with large quartz deposits, the climate is kept cool by the pacific ocean. The vineyard sits high on a hill and was planted in 1950. Viticulture is natural (unirrigated and no chemical additions) with a small amount of mineral sulphur applied for powdery. Six months on skins. 25ppm at bottling only. Unfined, one very coarse filter at bottling.
