Domaine Simha Lotus Amphora Riesling 2016
Biodynamic Riesling from a single vineyard in the Derwent Valley, Tasmania. Fruit was picked on a fruit day, the wine was fermented in ceramic amphora eggs, and left on its skins for 90 days giving the Riesling a lot of texture. It has all the flavours you enjoy of Riesling with the citrus drive, floral notes of white blossoms, ginger, lime stone minerality, and a bit of umami on the middle palate. Wonderful with Asian food.
