Konpira Maru Tender Cat 2.0 2020
Each year we make a series of wines that are made from the wine that is disgorged while making our pet nats, in this case the Mt Midoriyama Classic. They are the true taste of vintage; a little wild, a whiff of spritz, super fresh, and super drinkable.
Production notes:
70% Sagrantino and 20% Vermentino from the Chalmers Nursery Block, Merbein, Victoria, and 10% Cabernet from Quarry Ridge vineyard, Kilmore.
Wine left over from disgorging the mighty Mt Midoriyama Classic blended with our favourite cabernet that had been aged in an old shiraz barrels. Bottled unfined and unfiltered with a touch of Sulphur at bottling. 13.2%. 1060 bottles.'
