Organic small batch wine, only 60 bottles brought into Australia! This wine is produced from tiny yields of hand harvested grapes, fermented using natural yeasts and aged in Amphora pots. The winery is near Nantes, in the Loire Valley.
Profile of melon, oyster shells, saline, freshly squeezed lemons, crisp green apples, Thai green mango, raw papaya, hot rocks, with nice racy acidity, and dried herbs on the finish. Delicious wine that is so juicy and refreshing. Muscadet is on par with Picpoul, and Hunter Valley Semillon as some of the best wine to have with seafood, especially sashimi. This bottle and a tray of oysters or scallops would disappear pretty quickly!
