Nebbiolo (Natural wine) made in Roero, Piemonte. Tiny production of only 1500 bottle.  One of the first vineyards to be certified organic in Italy from 1990. The vineyard is located on one of the tallest hill of Roero area, surrounded by hazelnuts, The land has been in the family for 4 generations, and current winemaker (Renato Vezza)  grandfather “Ernesto “ refused to sell the hill because he wanted to leave it to his grandson, so that’s why the wine is called Bricco Ernesto.

Only 180 bottles brought into Australia.

Sweet cherry, almond biscuits, mint and pine, a lick of spice. It’s fresh, but powerful, layers of red fruits and almost a creamed honey flavour, dried herb, blood orange and peel, supple powder fine tannin, delicate but warm-hearted, with a finish that rolls on most emphatically. It’s interesting. And different in a good way. Distinctive wine. Very good.'
