Chévre Wines, Spring Red 2017
This spring red is a blend of Syrah and a new grape species which is believed to be a cross between Pinot Noir and Shiraz. The Syrah fruit is sourced from the Grampians, while the rest is sourced from Jordy's own vineyards that he has planted in the Otways region of Victoria.
Dry with blackcurrant, mulberries, dried & fresh herbs, black pepper, light spice, light tannins and a little bit of spritz that makes you want to take another sip. This tastes like an Aussie version of Lambrusco. Drink chilled on a hot day.
