Damien Courbet Côtes Du Jura Savagnin L'origine 2018
Grown in the Marnes Bleus clay soil that are unique to this region and that Savagnin excels in. This small cuvée come from young vines that are crushed and put through a skin maceration for 18 hours. The fermentation and aging process takes place half in neutral oak barrels and half in stainless steel tank. The result is a very floral wine that is the true expression of Savagnin delicate and acid-fresh character, rich with a delicately fruity fragrance, fine acidity, light and refreshing dryness towards the end.
