Dirty Black Denim Wines Macedon Range Pinot Noir 2017
'From the 5.5 acre patch of dirt (granite, mostly) in Macedon Ranges (Baynton East, south of Heathcote). For some unknown reason, there's only 18 small rows of Pinot Noir in the vineyard. So full crop is only around 700kg's. They picked 3/4 of the block early. 100% of that portion was de-stemmed and received a very gentle maceration for 2 weeks. The remaining fruit was picked into an old hogshead with the head knocked out. That underwent nearly 3 weeks carbonic maceration. Bottled with zero S02 or any of that other additions.'
