I often find Grenache Blanc a tricky one. Picked too early it is aqueous, empty, acidic and ungiving. Picked too late, it can become flabby. Too much oxygen in wine making and it can taste like bruised cider apples and pears. But well judged oxidative ageing is it’s friend… So, perhaps I don’t need to say, this one is in the catalogue for a very well judged reason ! I encourage you to try it for a very pleasant surprise of ripe fruit and floral flavours, cut by fresh acidity and herbaceous notes.
