Fruit from one hundred year old vines, this wine is an homage to the family’s great-grandfather who planted this site after returning from the war. Beeswax, cultured cream, cooking golden apples in brown butter. Chiffon cake, Meyer lemon, magnolia. Full, but multidimensional, with ripples of acid glittering between what is ultimately a deeply honeyed and rich wine. Widely accepted to be the pièce de résistance of the collection.
