l’Octavin Poulsard Direct Press Hip Hip J…2020


'The Poulsard grapes used in this wine were purchased from a friend of Alice who grew the grapes in the Jura. This wine has been made from a direct press of red Poulsard grapes to produce a nicely-textured white wine.

The fermentation was, as always, carried out using only the native yeasts brought in on the grapes. The resulting wine was left in tank for almost 7 months to mature before being bottled in April 2021.
