L.A.S Vino Jerusalem's Grace Chardonnay 2016

Chardonnay from Margaret River made by Nick Peterkin, son of famed Margaret River winemaker, Mike Peterkin of Pierro Wines. Though a more modern style of Chardonnay, this is a great example of new Chardonnay coming out of Margaret River. Profile of apple pie, granny smith apples, melon, cinnamon, lemon buttercream, grapefruit, toasted oats and zesty acidity. Delicious wine packed full of flavour.

'Two completely opposite vineyards handpicked on the same day. One in Karridale (Jerusalem) and one in Willyabrup (Grace). Cold pressed at half the pressure of a normal white wine and fermented naturally in French oak (20% new), where the wine went through a partial maloactic fermentation for 10 months in with regular lees stirring to create creaminess and body. The wine was settled in tank, chilled and bottled un-filtered.'
