Mada Wines Shiraz 2017
'From Murrumbatemen, from two vineyards, south and north of the parish, more or less. This is proper gear. The wine drags an anchor through the regional character. Well done that Hamish Young. Couldn’t find bottle image, sorry.
Spicy, fragrant start to the wine. Red berries/cherries, boysenberry, sage leaf, clove, pepper all jostling in the bouquet. Very nice. Silky textured, fresh feeling, good inward concentration and superior glide. Supple, succulent, vibrant, elegant and seamless yet with a healthy wild edge that feels compelling in the mix of more classic characters. Very good gear.'
