Michael Hall Wines Sang de Pigeon Chardonnay 2020

Due to tiny crops in 2020 this release of Sang de Pigeon Chardonnay is the beneficiary of all the fruit from Bernie Swaby’s brilliant Garden Block in Piccadilly. Low winter rainfall throughout winter and subsequent growing season augured a very small crop. Hand-picked on the 18th, 26th and 27th of March, pressed to French oak puncheons, wild yeast barrel fermented, 25% malolactic, matured for 11 months on lees in barrel (21% new), filtered and bottled.
