Peter Wetzer Rosé 2013

2013 was a tough year for red wines in Hungary, so Peter Wetzer decided to make his red wine (Blaufrankisch) into a Rosé and leave it to age. In doing so, he has created a serious age-worthy Rosé. Dry, savoury Rosé, with a profile of pear, papaya, spices, star anise, strawberries, cranberries, and roses, all matched with great acidity. This is great for Rosé lovers and also for people who usually drink red wine but not Rosé.
