Ravensworth Seven Months Field Blend 2016
Called 7 months as it spent 7 months on skins in amphora and is unfiltered. This is a field blend that is made up of Pinot Gris, Riesling, Gewurtztraminer, and Sauvignon Blanc. Sourced from Murrumbateman vineyards; their Canberra Estate. Citrus, ginger, white flowers, a bit of spice, herbal and savoury notes, crunchy acidity, and a richness from the skin contact. This wine cries out to be eaten with food that is either spicy, fermented or has umami flavours in it.
