Sassafras Salita Sagrantino 2017

'Great wines from this wee project. Ne’er a miss in my book. Sagrantino has been a thing for Sassafras for a few years. This is lovely.

Rough and ready in that way that the variety does it so well. Inky looking thing in the glass, scents that run from feral to fruity, in the best possible way. Black jelly beans, sarsaparilla, black currants, dried herbs and something ferrous and bloody. What a ride! Lush, fuller weight wine of total seduction.'
