It reveals notes of raspberry, blackcurrant cream, prune, and a hint of cinnamon. A very noble vegetal touch emerges, providing a lot of freshness to the overall bouquet. The palate is silky and delicately enticing. The Gamay grape showcases all its finesse and deliciousness, unfolding flavours of Morello cherries, star anise, a hint of licorice, and a touch of mint.

This cuvée genuinely bridges the gap between the great Gamays of the Beaujolais Crus and the Rhône Nord's Syrahs grown on granite soils.

Emerging from a culinary background, Simon honed his palate in the vineyards under the guidance of his grandfather, a passionate wine enthusiast. After some exploratory travels, he returned to collaborate with his mentor and the esteemed producer André Perret in Condrieu and Saint-Joseph. Since 2017, Simon has made Bessey his home, crafting expressive and delightful wines that reflect the region’s clayey, mineral terroir.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0034/1409/8033/files/03C20A99-2E49-45EF-BE2E-04F519160604_1_201_a_f8ce4448-ad6f-4c41-aa75-c2709485abb8.jpg?v=1762307509
