The Wine Farm Chardonnay 2016
Neil Hawkins doesn't like adding to his wine or altering his wine too much. He likes the fruit to do the talking and show what the terroir of a region can do. Having a vineyard at the southernmost tip of Mainland Australia, you really see something special in this Chardonnay.
If you had this blind and were told this was a 'modern Chablis', you wouldn't disagree. This is a great Australian take on Chablis - a delicious organic Chardonnay that doesn't see oak. Long lines of lemon, crisp green apples, sea spray, pomelo, grapefruit, spice, white flowers, lovely acidity, balance and the finish just goes on! Great with chicken, stunning with cooked or raw seafood!
