The Wine Farm Pinot Blanc 2015 (Noir)
This wine is not made from the grape variety Pinot Blanc, as one would assume from the name.
After taking the free run juice for his Pétillant Naturel, winemaker Neil Hawkins, presses the Pinot Noir grapes, and it is this juice that is used to make this wine. As the juice is basically white, the wine was named 'Pinot Blanc'.
The Wine Farm's Pet Nat is one of the most delicious made in Australia, and this Pinot Blanc is no different. Beautiful pink hues, fresh cut flowers, strawberries, peaches and cream, lemon curd, roses and a slight minerality. So lively and refreshing, you'll have to stop yourself from having the bottle to yourself.
