A light, bright and charming Pinot Noir with crunchy red cherries, wild strawberries and a gentle lift of rose petal. Silky and fresh on the palate, showing fine tannins, subtle spice and a mineral edge. Pure, elegant and effortlessly drinkable — a crisp, delicate take on Alsatian Pinot. Maceration of whole bunches for a week followed by aging in foudres for one year. Unfiltered wine, no added sulphites.
Domaine Marc Kreydenweiss (Alsace, FRA)
Domaine Marc Kreydenweiss produces biodynamic wines in Alsace and in the Rhone Valley. The winery has been certified since 1989. Today, Kreydenweiss farms a little less than 30 acres of vineyards in Alsace, which includes portions of 3 Grand Cru vineyards: Kastelberg, Moenchberg, and Weibelsberg. Riesling, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Blanc vines dominate the plantings, but Kreydenweiss has other varieties planted, such as Pinot Noir.
