ABV: 64.25%

Mash-bill: 70% Rye / 18% Corn / 12% Malted Barley Aroma: Big, big waves of cool mint and brown sugar, layered over dark fruit preserves and a hint of cracker-like grain.

Palate: Remarkably composed for its proof — the ABV is beautifully hidden. A rolling mix of ripe fruits, toasted almonds and subtle Christmas spice creates a full, mouth-coating ride. This barrel has an extra level of viscosity that sets it apart from the standard annual release.

Finish: Exceptionally long, like a Tajín-dusted cherry Chupa Chup. The mint resurfaces and lingers, eventually fading into a warm, honeyed farewell.

One of the standout rye barrels from JD, and one of the earliest national barrel-proof rye releases in the US — a genuinely special pick.
