From the same agave-forward foundation, this Reposado expression is aged in oak and finished in Barolo wine casks. Known as the “King of Wines,” Barolo barrels bring structure and complexity through subtle tannin, dried fruit, and earthy undertones. The finish adds depth and grip, creating a bold yet balanced reposado that highlights both agave intensity and refined wine influence. Each bottle is finished by hand and dipped in the volcanic soil of our agave fields.

Barolo Casks

Barolo is a prestigious Italian red wine made from the Nebbiolo grape, celebrated for its structure, tannin, and age-worthy character. When used as finishing casks for tequila, Barolo barrels contribute nuanced dried fruit, earth, and spice notes, lending depth and sophistication while preserving the brightness of reposado tequila.

Paladar Tequila is from the last independent founding families of Tequila, the Orendain family who are the founders of Arette Tequila. An authentically modern product - created by five generations of distilling, by master distiller, Eduardo Orendain Jr.. Modernised by sustainability, in productions and sourcing from the valley of Jalisco, Tequila, Mexico. The Tequilas are preservative-free, with zero use of colour additives, and zero use of pesticides or fertilisers in the agave fields, and the agave is grown organically. Each bottle is hand-dipped in the volcanic soil of their agave fields. These are premium Tequilas that will stand apart from the large amount of celebrity and mass-produced Tequilas on the market. Each Tequila comes from a minimum 7-year Blue Weber agave from their own fields, which slow cooks in brick ovens and open-air pine-box ferments in wild and proprietary yeast. Each batch of Paladar is twice distilled in a copper and stainless steel pot blend. They celebrate this product of the earth with each bottle hand-dipped in the volcanic soil of our agave fields.
