Domaine Ribiera La Vista Cinsault 2020
Old vine Cinsault made entirely in steel, offering a bright, pure and quietly serious expression of the variety. Baked raspberry, ripe red berries and orange zest take the lead, lifted by gentle baking spice and a hint of citrus. Light to medium-bodied with silky, fine tannins that add welcome structure to the juicy, forward fruit. Fresh, supple and beautifully balanced on the finish — an elegant, ultra-drinkable Cinsault that shines with anything spicy, fatty or salty. This wine would also work well as a light chilled red.
Domaine Ribiera (Languedoc, FRA)
Domaine Ribiera is a tiny, organic estate in Aspiran, Languedoc, run by François and Marie Ribiera since 2005. Farming a handful of limestone- and clay-rich parcels, they work with Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Terret, Carignan and small amounts of white varieties. Everything is done naturally: spontaneous ferments, minimal sulphur, and gentle élevage in concrete or old oak. Their wines are bright, textured and beautifully fresh—an elegant, lighter take on Languedoc.
