Approximately 80% Chardonnay and 20% Savagnin, the vines in Les Tourillons, a vineyard overlooking Arbois, are co-planted. They are harvested and vinified together. It was aged for 2 years in 400 litre barrels (bottled in June 2022). The wine is very fresh and drinking this is a little like licking limestone which has been seasoned with lemons. 12.5% ABV. Renaud told us this time last year that you should keep it for at least 2 years before drinking it and it will reach its prime in 10 years. We've helped by delaying the shipment a little so one year has already passed! 12.5% ABV.
