'Clos des Renardes is a vineyard within the Beaune appellation which sits between Pommard and Beaune, not far from her premier cru Chouacheux vines.
Fanny bought her Clos des Renardes parcel in 2016. It is a 2.2-hectare parcel that was mainly planted with Pinot Noir but with some Chardonnay. The majority of the vines are about 40 years old but Fanny has planted more Chardonnay to take advantage of the terroir here.
This is a lovely wine that is drinking very nicely already . This is Burgundy Chardonnay at its best!'
