Bande Apart Aligote 2024
Think Sunnyboy meets lemon rind — bright, zesty and mouth-watering. Notes of Alpine herbs and slate weave through a core of citrus and minerality. The palate races with zippy acidity and precision, finishing long, chalky and refreshing. A racy, delicious white built for warm weather and effortless drinking.
Jess DiGiorgio’s passion for wines with pure fruit expression led her to create Bande Apart, a project dedicated to capturing the essence of time and place in every bottle. Sourcing small parcels of fruit from cool-climate regions, she crafts just 2–3 barrels of each variety, allowing each wine to tell its own story. Her approach is light-handed yet precise, highlighting the vineyard, vintage, and variety with elegance and clarity. Now based in the Yarra Valley after moving from Adelaide, Jess brings experience from Mount Mary and Oakridge, continuing her pursuit of refreshing, delicate, and finely structured wines—each as meticulously crafted as her striking labels.
