It's an indication of the generosity of the 2018 vintage that we have a 100% Savagnin from Les Nouvelles. This 30+ year old Savagnin is from a part of Les Nouvelles that Renaud and Adeline no longer work, with this 2018 being the final vintage, partly because its steep slopes are so difficult. The soil is calcareous clay with limestone scree. Whole bunches were directly pressed and then aged in barrels that were topped up for nearly 4 years. It was bottled in June 2022. It's lively, fresh and Renaud says ready to drink, although it will still cellar well for a few more years. 13.5% ABV
