Free-run juice of Trousseau macerated on the skins before aging 13 months in neutral French oak barrels. Transferred to stainless for 7 months before bottling without filtration or fining. The 2018 “Le Garde Corps” shows an unusual depth and concentration for the variety, with layers of dark cherry, blackberry, and redcurrant wrapped in warm spice, citrus lift, and a touch of earth. Firm yet fine tannins and lively acidity give it structure and persistence, making it both expressive in youth and worthy of cellaring.
