A blend of 80% Mourvèdre and 20% Carignan, made with minimal intervention and with a bit of age to boot—and it’s still holding up really well.
Lots of juicy purple fruit, ripe plum and blackcurrant pastilles, with a slightly meaty, savoury note underneath. There’s light spice, white pepper and a touch of liquorice, backed by good acidity and very light tannins. Medium-bodied, low in alcohol and incredibly easy to drink. This would be great served slightly chilled and great wine for warmer weather.
