Xanadu Cabernet Sauvignon 2008

Margaret River experienced near perfect conditions during the early summer of 2008 which provided fantastic growing conditions and resulted in fruit that was harvested at optimal levels of ripeness. The wine was matured for a period of 14 months in French oak of which 40% was new.

Opaque black dark red colour with deep dark red hue. Lifted aromas of violets, cedar, blackcurrant and spice. Medium to full bodied with flavours of ripe blackcurrant, cedar and mulberry followed by a spicy back palate. Excellent length. Fine grained well integrated tannins with long aftertaste of blackcurrant, spice and cedar.
